BioI guess I should put something here... I, uh... well... um...
Hi there, everybody! It's good to be here.
I suppose it's obvious that I am a girl. My sense of humor is very odd and slightly morbid, so... yeah. I am Christian, for anyone who cares, but I don't bash people over the head with a Jesus stick; I'll be friends with anyone.
My favorite animes are:
Fullmetal Alchemist: In any incarnation, hands down, my favorite. It is just MADE of awesome! Arakawa-sensei is inspirational.
Monster: The best. Urasawa-sensei is brilliant.
Higurashi: Well, I never would have thought I'd like this as much as I do. I guess having a boyfriend who loved horror movies for a while had a more profound effect on me than I realized. Anyway, Higgy rocks!
Elfen Lied: Oddly so. I didn't care for the ecchi elements in this one, but they were bearable because the story was so sad and touching.
Rurouni Kenshin: Who doesn't love him? He's so cute!
Trigun: Vash is lovable. What can I say?
Fruits Basket: Got me into anime. Not really my favorite anymore, but it will always have a special place in my heart.
I don't really care for Naruto/Bleach/One Piece. They're okay, but not really my thing... (And impossible to catch up with at this point.)
Just to put this out there for those who care: I'd like to point out that yaoi, or yuri for that matter, isn't my thing... sorry, and hentai... no. Now that that's out of the way...
I shall vacate that piece of discussion permanently for fear of the scary fangirls/boys/others.
Now what... hm...
My favorite characters:
Envy from FMA: I am obsessed. I shall not apologize. He is all kinds of awesome and sexy, and his backstory in the first anime connected with me on a deep emotional level.
Grell from Kuroshitsuji: He is everything I love: long hair, nuts, flamboyant... yes.
Johan Liebert from Monster: I have a thing for nutjobs (see above) and he is cute and intelligent.
L from Death Note: Cute+Smart+Quirky=Soulmate
Rena from Higurashi: I aspire to someday be half as cute and deadly, even though I'm more like Mion.
Ayame from Fruits Basket: He's flamboyant, fun, and flaming hot! He got me into long silver hair.
Oh, and I like vampires. A lot. Edward Cullen, however, is not my ideal vampire. Louis de Pont du Lac (Interview With the Vampire) is. Dracula's not half bad, either.
I wish I was a homunculus. Okay, that was random, if true...
